Great little bar and restaurant. The owner made a great bologna sandwich and held some great conversation! Other customers had raved about how good the hamburger was. Everything was affordable, absolutely worth the stop.

Instagram #BIGCOUPLEBIGWORLD So me and my wife are on this big adventure traveling country for the next. 9 month and West Virginia is known for their slaw dogs(chili dog w/ coleslaw). We did a little googling and found this nice little place. When we stepped in the door it was like taking a step back into the 80s but everything was clean and the bar was full of beer. People were super nice and the slaw dogs were awesome. If you're traveling through, I highly recommend stopping by.

I would describe this establishment as a bar & grill. During cold weather the inside dining area has about 3 or 4 tables which could accommodate maybe 12 people. There's about 5 or 6 bar stools for seating as well. During the warmer months there is an area with a wooden privacy fence with additional seating. Wasn't what I expected based on some of the reviews.. I arrived on a weekday in March at about 7pm. The place was almost at capacity when I arrived. The atmosphere has more of a bar/drinking establishment than an eatery. I ordered a Hamburger & Fries. Was pretty good/patty was hand made. People were friendly & greeted me upon arrival. Some of the patrons were playing a video bowling game.

My boyfriend and I had some delicious food and family-like company. They treated us like old friends and the beer was cold while the food was fresh and out of this world. It was an honor to invoke Hank's spirit in this down-home atmosphere. They really took care of us and if you're thinking about stopping in, DO IT! You won't regret it! If y'all read this, thanks again and we love y'all! Can't wait to do it again soon!!

We were on our way home from vacation in North Carolina and found this little gem with a Google search. The stellar reviews could not be more accurate, as this was a great meal to end our week of family and fun and food. One on the kids declared the burger as the best she had ever had.. it was fresh and perfectly cooked.. no frozen or smooshed patty at Skyline Drive In! The hot dog was delicious with chili and slaw, and the onion rings were real and cooked perfectly. And the proprietor even brought snack candy out for those that finished their meals! Everyone there was genuine and hospitable.. customers and owners. If you are looking for a mom and pop that serves great food with a cold one.. stop here. The historical significance is an added bonus if you are a country music fan and know your Hank Sr. trivia. We will be back.

I was in town helping family move to the area and saw the sign "Best Burger's in Town!" They were right and I learned more about Hank Williams, good times!
